Description: Gothic style title-page, iv, 12 single-sided sketches, each with a single-sided sheet of text and separated by a sheet of blank paper. Gilt lettered blue bevelled cloth. all edges gilt, 26x35. Minor fraying to head and tail of spine, occasional foxing, not affecting plates, a good tight copy.
Notes: Etchings, based on sketches by the author, of picturesque architectural features of this district. Includes Townley Hall, Whalley Abbey, Ribchester Church, Gawthorpe Hall. Uncommon.
