Notes: Sketches and plans for properties designed by the author and ranging from £250 to £4,500. Houses are very grand and the bungalows very imposing. Briggs’ preface has interesting comments on the nature of the ‘bungalow’, a house type then being introduced from India. Indeed the author became known as ‘Bungalow Briggs’.
