Inscribed by the author on the front end paper. Please note cover has not reproduced well and is green.
Notes: Beautifully produced and very informative history of this subject, with fine illustrations. Every kind of gas fitting is described, as well as shades, burners, automatic switches etc. The author was president of the South Metropolitan Gas Company. The presentation is to S W B Flavel, probably a member of the Flavel gas cooker company. A thorough account, covering every aspect. Very scarce.
