Description: Engraved title, xiii, 254pp, incl hundreds of figs, glossary + 106 single-sided litho plates. Bound very attractive patterned boards, gilt lettered vellum spine and corners, with raised bands, nice marbled eps. 31x23. Excellent copy of this later edition, with nice bright plates.
Notes: A revised edition from the same era, improved by the introduction of new figs and several new plates, showing recent constructions, though some other plates seem to have been omitted.
