Description: Etched title, 21 etched plates; Etched and coloured title, 24 etched plates; Engr. title, 26 etched plates; Engr. title, 26 etched plates. Marbled boards, half leather spine, corners, gilt lettered and patterned, with raised bands. Leather scuffed, end papers a little foxed, contents good with very nice fresh plates.
Notes: The historic original editions, bound together (with spine title, “Ornaments of the 15th and 16th Centuries”), of these four very early Pugin works, published by Ackermann. “Gothic Furniture” was in fact Pugin’s earliest publication under his own name.
