Description: Frontis, xii, 150 + 125 single-sided plates; frontis, viii, 188pp + 161 single-sided plates; frontis, vii, 135pp +111 single-sided plates, Gilt lettered cloth. 21x14. Edges spotteed and some ocassional foxing to text pages, spine vol 2 faded, cover vol 3 little marked on edges, owners signature, good set.
Notes: Very detailed study, with revealing photographs. John Stabb of Torquay systematically photographed and collected information on the Devon churches over a long period. His work provides an excellent record of these features at this point in time.
