Description: Six colour-tinted unused contemporary postcards of Yohohama from photographs taken of the Great Earthquake and Fire of Tokyo and Yokohama, September 1923. Each 9x14. Some corners very slightly rubbed, not affecting images.
Notes: Very dramatic images of the fire and destruction in Yokohama immediately after the great earthquake. Buildings are still on fire and damage is enormous. Some cards have descriptions in English and all in Japanese. More details on request.
