Description: 32 beautiful colour plates mounted on 22 titled dark grey cards. Original card portfolio with linen spine, circular paste-on image on cover. 25x31. Folder rubbed round edges and trifle grubby, flaps of folder torn with slight loss to one corner, plates nice and bright and in excellent condition.
Notes: Pattern book, with fine coloured plates showing painted wall samples, also some artist's views of room settings for these. The painted samples seem very sympathetic to the contemporary Münchner Werkstätten für Kunst applied arts movement. (The room settings seem more traditional). A lovely item (and interesting to compare with the Thomas Parsons trade book above).
