Notes: Exhibition catalogue. Simon Gate and Edward Hals were painters, hired as designers by Orrefor in 1916 and 1917 to help modernise their designs. It proved a wildly succsesful venture and the pair worked there for many years. Scarce catalogue and good technical reference.
