Description: vi pp intro plus 47pp of plates with captions. Library binding, 27x21. Ex polytechnic library, small stamps throughout, tear to half-title. All pages suffer from off-setting which makes them appear grubby. Binding is tight.
Notes: Albin Müller (1871-1941), was architect of the Deutschen Theater-Ausstellung, Magdeburg 1927, with its dramatic brick-built tower. He was a part of the Darmstadt artists' colony and designed buildings in the city, for instance the well-known Darmstâdter Löwentor, close in design to the Pferdetor in Magdeburg, also by him. He also created the Magdeburg room at the St Louis World's Fair in 1904. From 1917 he was commonly known as Albinmüller, and was an innovative and remarkable architect who deserves to be better known.
