Notes: Early brochure for the Woolworth Building. Designed by Cass Gilbert, it was opened in 1913 by President Wilson. A fine contemporary guide and celebration of this great skyscraper, then the tallest in the world. Unlike most later skyscrapers it had a great many decorative details, some in the gothic style. The interiors were also very ornate. A beautifully produced guide, still in its original envelope.
