Notes: One of the few books produced in Britain that tried to come to terms with the Modern Movement, though the author does rather ramble about in the subject. He discusses housing, planning, craftsmanship, machine production and other topics. Duncan was an architect, who lectured on medieval architecture at the AA. Also an interesting piece of book production, sympathetic to the topic.
